PETROGLYPH NATIONAL MONUMENT

Petroglyph National Monument – Albuquerque, New Mexico: walked a handful of miles and saw hundreds of petroglyphs, desert flowers in bloom and a history lesson. Archeologists estimate that the petroglyphs were carved 400 to 700 years ago by ancestors if today’s Native people. The spirits of these people are sensed in the landscape, gentle breeze, hot blazing sun, warm sand, smell of sweet sage, and sounds of birds. Everyday is like a Sunday!
